Wandering round doing nothing

Well here we are into a new year, and how far am i with Jake's quilt...... not very. I had all the fabrics sorted, only they were all over his bedroom floor and they had to be put away before he came home from school for his Christmas break and have not seen the light of day since. I must get myself into gear because once i do it will be done in no time, so at the moment i am wandering round the house doing very little.

Though i have started running again... and it is VERY hard work. I need to be motivated i need to motivate myself, hard when it's dull and drizzling outside.

The beginning....

Today i have begun to gather materials together to make a quilt for my son Jake for him to take and keep at school. I usually keep to small projects but............... I have been digging out materials from those deep dark places where materials like to go and hide away from the eyes of DH. Having moved house in the last 6 months this has proved quite a challenge (i knew exactly where they were in the old house!!). I have a sort of plan but i think (hope) the quilt will evolve naturally.
Alongside the quilt i hope to get finished a knitted tea cosy (no home should be without one) and a pair of socks. Oh, and all the other projects that remain unfinished.
